Karen has been our Resort Manager since 1995. In that time, she has overseen many exciting changes with us, including our popular swimming pool and helping us to stay focused on the needs of the pets in our care. She has also made great customer service a priority. A St. Louis native, Karen has always loved pets. In fact, at one time she had 11 dogs! She devotes a lot of her free time to helping SPARE, a local pet rescue group. "When I picked a career, I picked my passion. I’m happy to come here each day," says Karen.

Brian has been Assistant Manager since 2001 and has been with us for over 15 years. Along with his regular managerial duties, we rely on him to maintain our website and our computer system. One of his best assets is always trying to make sure we are doing the best job possible and is not afraid to change things for the better. At home, he has a small zoo of animals-3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 aquariums. He also is a Certified Advanced Pet Care Technician through PCSA. When talking about what he likes best about his job, Brian is quick to say, “Even though I have my own pets at home, I think I have even more with all the wonderful pets we see here.”

Kathryn started as a Receptionist in 2006 and is now Assistant Manager and Receptionist. Kathryn quickly showed she was dedicated and hard working. She comes to work happy and eager to help in any area needed. Kathryn has a degree in Animal Science and also is a Certified Pet Care Techbnician through PCSA. At home, she has a cat and a dog. She can often be heard saying "I love being here, it's like having 100+ pets of my own!"

Our Kennel Supervisor is Jose and has also been with us for over 15 years. Jose is responsible for making sure all the pets are taken care of properly each day. He loves dogs with a passion and always seems to know exactly what they need while in our care. Jose is so dedicated to making sure our facility operates well, he often helps out in various places in one day. You’ll see him in the morning in the grooming room bathing a pet and then on a walk with a dog in the afternoon. When asked how the day is going, Jose smiles and says, “Better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow!”

Our receptionists are Cathy, Jennifer, and Suzie. All three are lifelong pet people and love that they get to see such a variety of pets everyday at work. Cathy has been with us since 1995 and has 1 dog, 1 cat and an aquarium at home. Jennifer has a full house at home-3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 aquariums, and Brian. She’s been with us since 2005. Suzie has a little dog and has been with us since 2007.

Our Kennel Attendants are responsible for the cleaning and exercising of all of our guests. They are: Serafin, Maria, Jose, Carmen, Eleazar, Selvin, Cesar, Samantha, Israel, Ramon and Jose.

Fran is our Feline Technician. She has been lovingly attending to our feline friends since 1995. She loves coming to work everyday as everyday is something new.
