Tailwagers staff picture

Tailwagger's Staff consists of Earlene Winn, Leslie Silva, and Stacey Gong.
Earlene Verona Winn started out at VCA Kennel Club Resort & Spa in 2008, offering massages to our canine guests. Earlene had seen first-hand how beneficial massage therapy is to dogs when her Dachshund, Schnitzel, was injured. Schnitzel’s veterinarian suggested to Earlene that Schnitzel would be a good candidate for massage therapy. Earlene took Schnitzel to a weekly massage in Fountain Valley for 6 months. After seeing how well Schnitzel responded to the massages, Earlene was hooked and learned the trade herself. After training for hundreds of hours, Earlene became a Certified Canine Massage Therapist and started her own business, Tailwagger’s Massage.

A few years later, Earlene learned how hydrotherapy in a warm pool is extremely beneficial to dogs and decided to become a Certified Canine Hydrotherapist. Since 2011, Earlene has helped hundreds of dogs at our facility.

Earlene's qualifications are:
  • Certified Canine Massage Therapist
  • Certified Canine Water Therapy, Levels 1 & 2
  • Member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork
  • Member of the Association of Canine Water Therapy
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
  • Certified Canine Conditioning Coach
  • FitPaws Master Trainer

In the past few years, Earlene’s business has drastically increased, making it possible for her to hire additional staff.

Stacey's qualifications include: Certified Canine Water Therapist, Certified Canine Massage Therapist, FitPaws Master Trainer, Certified Canine Fitness Trainer, and Animal and Usui Reiki First and Second Degree.

Leslie's qualifications include: Certified Canine Massage Therapist, Certified Canine Conditioning Coach. She is currently working on a full certification for hydrotherapy.
